Our curriculum is unapologetically ambitious, placing a strong emphasis on excellence through a rich variety of media and exposure to incredible artists. We believe that exceptional teacher instruction is the key to inspiring pupils to acquire deep artistic knowledge and confidently apply their understanding in creative and meaningful ways.

The curriculum is thoughtfully organised into blocks, each focusing on a specific artistic discipline—drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, 3D, and collage. These disciplines are revisited throughout the primary years with increasing complexity, ensuring vertical progression and a deepening of skills over time.

In addition to core knowledge, each module includes a focus on Working Artistically—a framework that supports the development of key artistic behaviours and competencies. This helps teachers assess not only what pupils know and can do, but also how they are growing as artists.
