PSHE
At Offham, we recognise the value of PSHE as it enables our children to develop knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives, both in the present and in the future. It helps children and young people to stay healthy and safe. PSHE education also helps children to achieve their academic potential.
We use the 1Decision resources to teach the majority of our PSHE curriculum which includes Relationships, Health and Sex Education. Please see the RHSE page for more information.
We may supplement the 1Decision curriculum when needed if a specific issue arises or we feel a particular class need further support with a topic.
PSHE is assessed using a baseline assessment at the start of each topic, formative assessment in each lesson, and then a review at the end of a topic by pupils. Teachers will teacher assess pupils' progress at the end of each term.
