Wellbeing Council
At Offham Primary School, we are committed to supporting the emotional health and well-being of our pupils. Research into child development and neuroscience all provide us with the understanding of the direct correlation between positive mental health and optimum educational outcomes. If well-being is high, then children can reach their full potential.
Part of this was the achievement of the Well-being Award for Schools in 2022, although we know that this is not the end of our journey to improve well-being for our pupils.
This year, classes voted for 2 representatives to join the well-being council. Here are the actions for term one submitted by the council:
Academic Year 2025-2026
Term One Actions: Children to complete a pupil voice to find out if the idea to wear own clothes to school on our birthday is a good idea for our well-being. |
Meeting to be arranged with RP Monday 6/10 to pitch our idea. |
