World Book Day

We all travelled into the wonderful world of reading and celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 7th March. As we were all dressed up as different characters, we all got into role (even staff!) and had a fantastic time reading and discussing our favourite books and characters. It was lovely to see such a range of characters such as Mr Strong from the Mr Men, Mickey Mouse, Hermione Granger, Verucca Salt and Willy Wonka !

We even had a visit from a famous storyteller called John Row who enchanted the children with tales from all over the world. Our fantastic PTFA reading challenge was also launched this week and children are very excited about it and already taking part in the challenges.
