Our school was built in 1875 and is steeped in history. We are lucky enough to be based in the beautiful Kent countryside and our School Houses reflect this.

Chartwell  

Is a country house built in 1923 and is near WesterhamKent. For over forty years it was the home of Sir Winston Churchill. He bought the property in September 1922 and lived there until shortly before his death in January 1965. To find out more please click the link below.

Hever 

Hever Castle is located in the village of Hever, Kent.  It began as a country house, built in the 13th century. From 1462 to 1539, it was the seat of the Boleyn family. Anne Boleyn, the second queen consort of King Henry VIII of England, spent her early youth there after her father, Thomas Boleyn, inherited it in 1505. The castle passed to him upon the death of his father, Sir William Boleyn. Hever Castle

Knole

Knole is a country house built mostly between 1455–1608. It is situated within Knole Park, a 1,000-acre park located near Sevenoaks in Kent. The house ranks in the top five of England's largest houses occupying a total of four acres. To find out more please click the link below.

Penshurst

Penshurst Place is a historic building near PenshurstKent. It is the ancestral home of the Sidney family, and was the birthplace of the great Elizabethan poets and courtiers, siblings Mary Sidney and Philip Sidney. The original medieval house is one of the most complete surviving examples of 14th-century domestic architecture in England.
